Known for high-quality products, strong local presence, and reliable after-sales support, the company is now expanding its commercial footprint across the region.Role OverviewThe Regional Sales Director – APAC will lead all commercial sales activities across the region, which represents approximately 15% of total company revenue. This role oversees the Indoor Sales Executives based in Singapore and works closely with global commercial teams.The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and margin growth, strengthening key airline customer relationships, and securing new business opportunities across APAC.Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy: Define and execute the APAC commercial strategy in alignment with global objectives.
Revenue & Growth: Deliver sales and margin targets across APAC, ensuring sustainable business growth.
Customer Engagement: Build deep customer intimacy, strengthen existing relationships, secure new accounts, and serve as the voice of the market within the organisation.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop Indoor Sales Executives, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.
After-Sales Excellence: Ensure local presence supports reliable service delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align commercial strategy with operational execution.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, customer trends, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Data-Driven Approach: Use CRM systems, reporting tools, and analytics to drive insights, forecasting, and customer experience improvements.
Financial Discipline: Contribute to forecasting, manage sales costs, and maintain healthy debtor positions.
Qualifications & Experience
10 years of senior commercial experience within the aviation or technical B2B industries
Proven track record of driving revenue and margin growth across APAC markets
Strong account management and customer engagement skills with the ability to build long-term loyalty
Fluent in Mandarin (verbal & written) and English; additional Asian languages are a plus
Experience leading and developing regional sales teams
Proficient in CRM systems, reporting tools, and structured sales processes
Strong negotiation, influencing, and cross-cultural communication skills
Data-driven mindset with experience using automation, analytics, and digital tools to enhance commercial performance
