We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team and drive operational excellence initiatives across the organisation. This role will involve managing improvement projects by utilising Lean and Six Sigma tools to enhance efficiency and deliver positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a proponent of ideas and provide recommendations to the different departments (5S & Idea Management)
  • Support a bottom-up approach to improvement and promote the sharing of best practices
  • Support and promote sustainability for 5S practices in production and administrative areas
  • Participate in operational value stream mapping
  • Identify constraints and bottlenecks at site level and propose related Improvement and Development projects
  • Support the gap analysis between current state and future state
  • Support Green Belts, DMAIC and Kaizen event projects
  • Support the Continuous Improvement roadmap; projects & workshops
  • Support operations in the implementation of poka-yoke methods, tools and systems
  • Seek opportunities for automation or new technology implementation: Automation & Digitalisation 4.0
  • Identify opportunities for reducing costs and improving productivity while coordinating the implementation of these improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing and Lean
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of other tools in the Microsoft 365 suite, such as SharePoint, Viva, Planner, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong English communication abilities
