Finance Director (based in Bangsaothong)

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality aircraft containers, catering to the diverse needs of airlines worldwide. With a commitment to innovation, they set the benchmark for the airline industry with durable, reliable products that ensure safe flight operations.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive Finance Director to join the company. The Finance Director is a pivotal role that oversees all financial aspects of the organisation in Thailand, Europe and the US: financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organisation's overall goals and objectives, including robust internal control measures
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis: budgeting, forecasting (long- and short-term), and variance analysis
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Identify and implement improvements in cash management processes
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to senior management: identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement
  • Manage the financial month-end reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and presentations
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory agencies
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and employee engagement
  • Support the CFO in ad hoc requests, providing financial analysis, research, and other assistance as needed
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact the organisation's financial performance and strategic direction

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance leadership roles in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the aircraft industry
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with financial management systems and software, including ERP systems and financial planning and analysis tools; knowledge of Infor LN will be a plus
